Course Objective

The objective of this course is to provide attendees with detailed information and in-depth knowledge enabling
them to achieve the following objectives:
Learn about:

  • The evolution of Food Styling.

  • The Food Styling 4 W’s.

  • How to prepare for the shoot (from briefing to shooting day).

  • The Food Stylist Resources.

  • The 5th “W”: Workflow.

Practice:

  • Basic Food Styling techniques.

  • A professional photoshoot simulation – from briefing to final image.

  • This course is best for:

  • New & aspiring professional Food Stylists.

Requirements:

  • Basic culinary experience/cooking.

  • Access to laptop & internet connection.​

Learning Approach

The course uses multiple learning interventions designed to ensure a high interaction level between the instructor and the attendees and amongst the attendees to leverage the diversity of their backgrounds. It combines different instructional and educational techniques from one-way information sharing, two-way communication, demonstrations, practical exercises, assignments, simulations, and feedback sharing which maximizes the effectiveness of the learning process.
